The Analysis of Elections,2011

A brief survey about the voting experience, collected by one of the websites, indicates that people really wanted 'CHANGE' in current Indian politics. Money power and muscle power had no influence on the voters this time as it previously was.
It is observed that while people from Kerala, Puducherry and Assam expected to see development of their state, the voters of West Bengal cited mixed issues like unemployment, corruption, development and law and order to be addressed by the future government.
As expected in Tamil Nadu erstwhile government faced a setback due to the 2G-Spectrum scam and inappropriate handling of after issues. Around 70% of the people cited "corruption" as the reason for their voting and expected a change in the present government.
People have shown their courage by opting for '49-O' Election Rule. Having faith in the Election Commission of India, not being influenced by money and muscle power, they have expressed how eagerly they are looking for a "change" in the political system.
